Top Medical Schools

It's quite important to point out that these rankings, as pretty much all rankings, are quite subjective.  It is also important to note that the 25 schools listed below may not be the top 25 med schools for you, based upon your interests and needs.

Does it really make a difference where you attend Medical School?

There's not a definitive answer for this question.  In some respects yes, and in others, no.  It does not matter in the sense that you will become a licensed medical doctor.  It will matter in the sense that the more prestigious medical school you attend, the better off you are for career networking after graduation, and you'll also better your chances of getting a top choice residency.  Johns Hopkins notes that over 90% of their graduates get one of their top 3 residency choices.  Duke University reports that 82% of their graduates received one of their top 3 residency choices.  These are some pretty impressive stats!
